The signing ceremony was attended by KB Insurance President Ki-hwan Kim and Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Superintendent Jae-jung Lee, among others.
Through this agreement, the two organizations will support the installation of new sensory integration therapy rooms and the remodeling of existing facilities in special schools within Gyeonggi Province. This aims to improve the special education environment and operate educational programs to promote the enhancement of social interaction skills among children with developmental disabilities.
Sensory integration therapy is a treatment that stimulates the senses of children with developmental disabilities through various activities and movements to help them improve appropriate adaptive responses on their own.
