T'way Air to Conduct Two Non-Stop Sightseeing Flights in February
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] T'way Air announced on the 17th that it will operate a total of two non-landing sightseeing flights departing from Incheon Airport on the 26th and Gimpo Airport on the 27th of this month.
T'way Air has been conducting non-landing sightseeing flights since January last year, allowing passengers to enjoy the excitement of overseas travel in advance and the benefits of purchasing duty-free goods.
This month's non-landing sightseeing flights depart from the respective airports at 9:45 a.m., circle over Japanese airspace, and return to the departure point around 12 p.m. These are international flights that go through formal immigration procedures, so passengers must carry their passports when boarding.
Tickets can be booked on the T'way Air website and mobile app, with fares starting from 116,400 KRW in total. When booking a non-landing sightseeing flight, passengers must select a one-way ticket and set the departure and arrival locations to be the same, either Incheon or Gimpo.
Additionally, T'way Air offers a coupon that provides an immediate 20,000 KRW discount when paying for tickets using T'way Pay, the airline's simple payment service.
Non-landing sightseeing flights allow duty-free shopping without leaving the country. On T'way Air's online duty-free store, pre-orders for duty-free products such as health supplements, alcoholic beverages, and cosmetics are available at discounts of up to 70%. For in-flight duty-free purchases, pre-orders must be made online, by mail, or by phone by midnight on the 24th.
Furthermore, T'way Air passengers receive various benefits such as reward points, membership upgrades, and paybacks through partnerships with major duty-free stores including Lotte Duty Free, Shinsegae Duty Free, and Shilla Duty Free.
A T'way Air official stated, "We will continue to operate non-landing sightseeing flights to provide passengers with unique experiences," adding, "Detailed information is available on the T'way Air website, mobile app, and web."
