US Disneyland Lifts Mask Mandate for Vaccinated Visitors
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyunjung] On the 15th (local time), Disneyland in the United States announced that it will lift the indoor and outdoor mask-wearing mandate for vaccinated individuals. The implementation date is from the 17th.
According to local media such as CNN, Disneyland will limit the mandatory mask-wearing indoors to unvaccinated visitors. Mask-wearing in outdoor areas has been changed to be optional for visitors.
A Disneyland official told CNN that the California Anaheim Resort will also apply the same regulations from the 17th in accordance with Disneyland's policy.
This decision by Disney follows Universal Orlando in Florida, which removed the indoor and outdoor mask-wearing mandate for vaccinated visitors starting from the 12th. At that time, Universal Orlando stated that unvaccinated visitors are encouraged to wear masks.
