Hapcheon-gun Begins 'Novavax' Vaccination for COVID-19 Vaccine Non-Recipients

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 15th that it began administering the Novavax COVID-19 vaccine to unvaccinated individuals aged 18 and over starting from the 14th.
As of February 14, there are 3,073 unvaccinated individuals within Hapcheon-gun.
From the 14th to March 6, same-day vaccinations are available at the Hapcheon-gun Public Health Center without a reservation. From February 21, vaccinations can be scheduled in advance through the website, with vaccinations starting from March 7.
A public health center official stated, "Novavax is the first COVID-19 vaccine developed using a recombinant gene technology similar to the influenza vaccine, so we expect an increase in vaccinations among those who previously avoided vaccination due to concerns about adverse reactions."
