The male speed skating team pursuit athletes who won the silver medal at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics failed to advance to the semifinals. Lee Seung-hoon (IHQ), Kim Min-seok (Seongnam City Hall), and Jeong Jae-won (Uijeongbu City Hall) placed 6th out of eight countries with a time of 3 minutes 41.89 seconds in the quarterfinals of the men's team pursuit at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics held on the 13th at the National Speed Skating Oval in Beijing, China. They did not make it into the top 4 and were relegated to the 5th-6th place classification race. Their opponent was Canada, which recorded a time of 3 minutes 40.17 seconds.
