2030 Gyeongbuk Uljin-gun County Management Plan Revision Underway... Collecting Residents' Opinions Until Next Month
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Gwiyeol] Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, has embarked on a mid-term management and maintenance project involving changes in land use and district designation in the region.
Uljin-gun announced on the 12th that it is collecting residents' opinions on the "2030 County Management Plan Revision" until the 28th.
The county management plan is a 10-year mid-term plan that responds to internal and external changes in the county's circumstances, presents long-term development directions, and induces and materializes balanced regional development through reasonable adjustments of national projects, local issues, and various civil complaints.
To prepare the 2030 Uljin-gun County Management Plan revision, the county collected residents' opinions twice in November and December last year. This is the third opinion collection period.
The main contents of the county management plan related to residents' lives include plans for changes in land use zones such as urban areas, management areas, agricultural and forest areas, and natural environment conservation areas; plans for changes in county planning facilities such as roads, bus stops, parks, green spaces, reservoirs, and markets; and plans for changes in use district zones such as district unit plans and settlement districts.
Residents who wish to submit opinions on the related plans can use the forms prepared at the industrial teams of each eup and myeon office. For detailed information on the plan establishment, inquiries can be made to the Urban Saemaeul Division and Urban Planning Team at Uljin County Office.
The Urban Saemaeul Division reviews the submitted residents' opinions and drafts the revision of the county management plan. Around June, the plan will be disclosed to residents through explanatory meetings and then proceed to formal administrative procedures. After going through procedures such as public inspection announcements and various reviews, it is scheduled to be decided by June next year and officially notified on the topographic map.
