The women's national curling team secured their first victory at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics by defeating Great Britain, the reigning champions of last year's European Championship. The team, known as 'Team Kim (Gangneung City Hall)' and composed of Kim Eun-jung, Kim Kyeong-ae, Kim Cho-hee, Kim Seon-young, and Kim Young-mi, won 9-7 in their second match of the women's curling league held on the 11th at the National Aquatics Center in Beijing, China. After losing their first match 7-12 against Canada the previous day, Team Kim now holds a record of 1 win and 1 loss. Ten teams are participating in this league, with the top four advancing to the tournament to compete for the medals.
