On the 11th, Changwon City announced that it will carry out a project to support the installation of air pollution prevention facilities worth 5 billion KRW for small-scale businesses.
The city supports small and medium-sized enterprises that want to replace outdated air pollution prevention facilities, as well as those aiming to replace existing boilers or general burners of cooling/heating water devices with low-NOx burners that have a high effect in reducing nitrogen oxides (NOx).
Businesses subject to the installation of IoT (Internet of Things) measuring devices that can monitor pollutant emission concentrations in real time are also included in the support targets.
These businesses can apply for support from the city by the 2nd of next month. The support amount covers 90% of the actual cost within the installation cost limit. The remaining 10% must be borne by the business.
The maximum support amount is 560 million KRW for air pollution prevention facilities, 720 million KRW for joint prevention facilities, 3.68 million KRW for IoT measuring devices, and 15.2 million KRW for low-NOx burners. For more detailed information, inquiries can be made to the city's Environmental Policy Division.
