At the meeting, Head Choi said, "Thanks to the excellent achievements built by our predecessors, firefighting in the Republic of Korea has achieved remarkable development as it is today," and emphasized, "We must put our heads together so that the rich firefighting field experience and knowledge of our seniors can be passed on to current juniors and further contribute to social public interest through various volunteer activities."
He added, "We will prepare various support measures at the headquarters level, such as establishing communication channels between former and current members, to enable the Veterans Firefighters Association to operate more systematically."
