"Why Don't You Trust Me?" Employee Threatens with Cutter Knife When Asked to Check Fruit, Arrested
[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-seon] An employee who threatened a customer with a box cutter when the customer wanted to check the fruit was arrested by the police.
On the 10th, the Nowon Police Station in Seoul announced that they arrested employee A (54 years old) on suspicion of threatening a customer with a weapon at a fruit store in Sanggye-dong, Nowon-gu, Seoul, around 5:53 PM the previous day.
It was investigated that A swore at victim B, saying "Why don't you trust us?" when B asked to open the box, suspecting that the fruit was repackaged during the purchase process. During this, A reportedly raised a box cutter and threatened to stab B.
