[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Suwon City in Gyeonggi Province will conduct the '2022 Business Survey' targeting industrial activity businesses until the 6th of next month.
The Business Survey, led by Statistics Korea and implemented by local governments, is an annual nationwide statistical survey conducted to understand the scale of the entire industry and employment structure in South Korea.
The survey results are used as basic data for major policies.
The survey targets all businesses with one or more employees engaged in industrial activities in Suwon City as of December 31 of last year (122,288 businesses).
Surveyors will conduct face-to-face and non-face-to-face combined methods such as on-site visits, telephone surveys, and distribution of questionnaires to investigate ▲business name ▲business location ▲business registration number ▲organizational form (corporation, etc.) ▲type of business ▲number of employees ▲annual sales, and more.
The survey results will be used as basic data for Suwon City's policy formulation and evaluation, corporate management planning, academic research, and will also serve as the population for statistical surveys targeting businesses.
This year's business survey results will be announced through the Statistics Korea National Statistical Portal in December.
A city official stated, "The contents of the business survey are strictly protected according to the Statistics Act, and the collected data will be used only for statistical compilation purposes," adding, "We ask for active participation and cooperation to ensure accurate survey results."
