[Concall] KT "5G Facility Investment, Initially Increased Then Decreasing Trend"
Revealed in the Q4 Earnings Conference Call
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] KT responded to a question about the possibility of reducing the proportion of 5G capital expenditures (CAPEX) during the Q4 earnings conference call held on the 9th by saying, "Due to the nature of telecom companies, CAPEX tends to increase and then decrease when transitioning to a new wireless generation."
They added, "When LTE (4G) was introduced in 2012, CAPEX increased up to 3.7 trillion KRW before decreasing. 5G is expected to follow a similar trend."
