Gwangju Nambu Fire Station Conducts On-Site Adaptation Training for Large Construction Sites in Winter
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] On the 9th, the Nambu Fire Station of Gwangju Metropolitan City conducted on-site adaptation training for winter fire prevention at two locations, including Namhae Onette.
Most large construction site fires occur due to failure to comply with safety regulations during tasks such as welding, and since flammable, combustible, and explosive hazardous materials are handled, there is a high risk of large-scale fires in case of accidents.
Accordingly, the Nambu Fire Station focused on improving rapid dispatch and response capabilities to prepare for disasters that may occur at large construction sites.
The main training contents included ▲ identifying hazards and building structures within the construction site ▲ extending fire hoses from fire trucks and water spraying ▲ checking evacuation routes ▲ verifying fire truck access routes ▲ and inspecting nearby firefighting water facilities.
