North Korea Shows Signs of Resuming Trade with Russia Following China

On the 9th, North Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Vice Minister Im Cheon-il met with Alexander Matsegora, the Russian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to North Korea, on the 7th.
The two sides exchanged views on North Korea-Russia relations, regional and international situations, and agreed to further strengthen strategic cooperation between the two countries in the future.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not specify the exact details of the discussions, but since they mentioned "strategic cooperation," it is likely that discussions about resuming trade also took place.
