On the 8th, the People Power Party's Election Countermeasures Headquarters Regime Change Accompaniment Committee uploaded three videos titled 'Yoon Seok-yeol's Thoughts' on their official YouTube channel.
On that day, when asked, "Why do you think President Moon Jae-in appointed you as Prosecutor General?" Yoon opened by saying, "No matter how powerful someone is, I think President Moon knew better than anyone that I am a person who cannot accept demands to do something just because I am on their side."
He continued, "If I were that kind of person, I might have handled cases like the National Intelligence Service incident more smoothly, not traveled to provinces, and chosen my posts carefully, but I did not do that," adding, "When I was the head of the Central District Prosecutors' Office, I investigated the previous administration (Park Geun-hye administration), and it seems they thought I was someone who could go all the way with them."
Yoon also said, "I do not know President Moon personally, but as a prosecutor watching him, I thought he was a very honest person," and added, "When I went to receive the appointment letter as Prosecutor General, he urged me to 'strictly investigate even the living powers, whether it is the government or the Blue House, and to eradicate corruption without hesitation.'"

He said, "I thought, 'This is an administration run by people who unconditionally obey their own interests without any justification, constitution, or common sense,'" and added, "Democracy is not difficult. It means that order is created according to principles everyone agrees on, but this was 'democracy in name only, a disguised democracy,' I thought."
Yoon pointed out, "I saw during the Cho Kuk incident that the so-called core supporters manipulated public opinion and deceived the people with false propaganda and agitation to maintain power and conduct elections. They are very immoral groups that should be ousted."
