View original imageOn the same day, Candidate Ahn wrote on Facebook, "China must immediately revoke the dirty judgment and return South Korea’s gold medal," pointing out that "it was a clearly wrong decision that no one can understand."
He said, "I share the anger of the people over the judges’ misconduct," and added, "The athletes must do everything possible to correct the dirty judgment and reclaim the results of our short track athletes’ sweat and passion."
In particular, Candidate Ahn emphasized, "If China invites the world but damages the Olympic spirit and pursues only its own interests with bias, this Winter Olympics will end not as a festival for the world but as a shabby family party for China alone."
He continued, "As a presidential candidate of the Republic of Korea, I strongly urge (China) to correct the wrong judgment by itself."
Candidate Ahn argued, "The Olympic spirit for world peace should contribute to human harmony and prosperity, and above all, it must be fair. If this is violated, China has no qualification as a global leading country."
