[Asia Economy Reporter Kwak Minjae] The internet economic newspaper Daily Impact and the Public Institution Social Responsibility Research Institute (PSR) jointly published the ‘2022 Korea Public Interest Corporation White Paper.’
The ‘2022 Korea Public Interest Corporation White Paper’ contains the activity status of 135 major public interest corporations, including corporate public interest corporations in the domestic industrial sector and IT and financial public interest corporations. It includes content on corporations actively addressing social issues amid the COVID-19 situation. The company explained that it has high academic utilization value as it contains key projects, asset composition, and stock holdings of major public interest corporations.
Public interest corporations by corporate group include the operation status and business content of major public interest corporations of 51 large business groups designated by the Fair Trade Commission and IT groups. The white paper also includes expert discussions and keynote lecture materials from a forum jointly hosted by Daily Impact and the ‘Healthy Contribution Culture Committee’ on topics such as ‘Public Interest Corporation Evaluation and Citizen Public Interest Committee’ and ‘Public Interest Corporation Governance Innovation.’
