Fairmont Ambassador Seoul Presents Valentine's Day Dining Experience
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Fairmont Ambassador Seoul announced on the 8th that its 29th-floor restaurant Mariposa will hold a dining promotion to celebrate Valentine's Day.
This promotion features a 5-course menu available from the 10th to the 20th. Starting with amuse-bouche (bite-sized appetizer), the courses include onion ham flan and crispy potatoes, deep ocean caviar served with consomm? jelly, white asparagus soup topped with ginger and egg yolk, and roasted duck breast served in sequence.
For the main course, guests can choose one from herb tomato sauce-covered cod, domestic Korean beef tenderloin accompanied by black truffle and date puree, or pumpkin parmigiano ravioli. The dessert is a rose berry mousse topped with raspberry cream and strawberry sauce. A glass of Golden Blanc Rose Brut champagne is served alongside.

Mariposa means butterfly in Spanish, and butterfly embroidery and butterfly-shaped objects are installed throughout the restaurant. Two terraces, like butterfly wings, are set up on either side of the restaurant's main hall, making it a great place to enjoy the city night view.
