Lotte Confectionery Reports Operating Profit of 82.6 Billion KRW Last Year... Transfers Talent Development Center Business to Holding Company
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Lotte Confectionery announced on the 7th that its operating profit on an individual basis last year was 82.6 billion KRW, a 4.5% decrease compared to the previous year. During the same period, sales increased by 1% to 1.5463 trillion KRW, while net profit decreased by 16.9% to 30.3 billion KRW.
Additionally, Lotte Confectionery announced that it will transfer the Talent Development Center business to Lotte Holdings in order to focus on its core confectionery business. The transfer price is 11.7 billion KRW, and the sales impact from the transfer is minimal (around 1%).
