According to Emart24 on the 7th, comparing sales data from February 4 to 6 with two weeks prior, wine sales increased the most by 38%. During the same period, beer sales rose by 5%, while soju sales fell by 3%. As for snacks, cheese, olives, and salami, which pair well with wine, sold better than the dried snacks typically eaten with beer.
Earlier, at the start of the Tokyo Olympics held last summer, beer sales increased by 24%, whereas wine sales only rose by 5%.
