Google Chrome Changes Logo Design After 8 Years
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Google browser Chrome is changing its logo design for the first time in 8 years.
Chrome designer Alvin Hu revealed the logo changes on his Twitter on the 5th (local time).
There is not much difference from the existing logo, but it is brighter than before, and the shadow has been removed while the size of the blue circle in the center has been increased.
Alvin Hu said, "When specific shades of green and red are placed side by side, color vibration occurs," adding, "We made it easier for users to approach by giving the logo a subtle gradient."

Chrome, launched in 2008, changed its logo design twice in 2011 and 2014. It initially introduced a 3D form but switched to a 2D frame. The new icon will first be available in the Canary version for developers and will gradually be updated for all users.
