Guri-si Promotes 'Green Mobility' Distribution Project... Accelerating 'Carbon Neutrality'
Increase of 4.7405 Billion Won YoY... Reduction of Fine Dust and Greenhouse Gases
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Guri City, Gyeonggi Province, is promoting the Green Mobility Distribution Project this year.
According to the detailed plan for the '2022 Green Mobility Distribution Project' announced by the city on the 3rd, it plans to distribute ▲330 electric passenger cars ▲75 cargo vehicles ▲60 electric two-wheelers ▲53 hydrogen electric vehicles ▲25 LPG-powered children's school vehicles ▲4 natural gas buses ▲and 1 electric excavator.
In particular, a 10% additional subsidy will be provided to low-income households purchasing electric vehicles, and the allocation of electric two-wheelers will be expanded to 10-30% priority quantities for merchants of Guri traditional markets and small business owners.
The city plans to increase the budget for green mobility distribution by 4.7405 billion KRW compared to last year and increase the number of distributed vehicles by 242 units to accelerate the realization of a carbon-neutral city by reducing fine dust and greenhouse gases.

Mayor Ahn Seung-nam said, "We will continue to promote the distribution of green mobility and gradually expand the charging infrastructure," adding, "A hydrogen charging station is scheduled to be completed in Topyeong-dong in the first half of this year."
