Korea Securities Finance Implements Large-Scale Organizational Restructuring and Personnel Changes with 80% of Department Heads and 50% of Team Leaders Affected
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] Korea Securities Finance conducted a large-scale organizational restructuring and personnel reshuffle on the 3rd.
The Securities Finance stated, "To proactively respond to changes in the capital market and strengthen organizational capabilities and expertise, we will implement a large-scale personnel reshuffle and organizational restructuring on February 7, replacing more than 80% of department heads and over 50% of team leaders."
The company expanded the number of divisions (from 5 divisions to 6 divisions) and reorganized the division structure to enhance expertise and efficient operation by division. It also appointed Noh Seong-gyu as Executive Director of the Investment Finance Office, Park Sang-mook as Executive Director of the Capital Market Finance Department, and Kim Seon-bong as Executive Director of the Customer Finance Department.
Additionally, to respond to changes in the capital market such as digital transformation, a dedicated organization (Digital Finance Department) was established, along with a change management team (Change Innovation Unit) to spread a dynamic organizational culture and secure future growth engines for the company.
Furthermore, through "work expertise and competency-centered personnel management," young and capable talents proficient in practical work were promoted in large numbers to department head and team leader positions, placing them in the right roles to enhance organizational expertise and efficiency. As a result, nine new department heads were appointed, and 15 new team leaders took office.

The Securities Finance explained, "By selecting outstanding female talents, we appointed them to key customer-facing departments such as the Capital Market Finance Department head, Gangnam Branch Manager, and Short-term Fund Brokerage Team Leader, thereby broadening the foundation for diversity in talent utilization and expanding female managers."
