View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Hye-young] LG Electronics announced on the 3rd that it will hold a dance challenge using the wireless portable screen LG StanbyMe.
The dance challenge utilizes Instagram's short-form video platform Reels, aiming to promote StanbyMe's differentiated viewing experience to the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z).
Customers can check out the LG StanbyMe dance performed by three famous choreographers?Gabi, Laeijeon, and Song Hee-soo?who have recently gained popularity through dance competition shows, as well as actress Kim Hee-jung, on the Instagram event page. They showcased choreography inspired by the product's distinctive form factor, featuring ▲freely adjustable screen angles ▲touch-only operation ▲easy screen synchronization with surrounding devices ▲and mobility enabled by moving wheels.
Customers who wish to participate in the dance challenge can film an idea video after following the LG StanbyMe dance, then share it by entering the designated hashtags. The challenge runs until the end of this month, and detailed information is also available on the LG Electronics website.
LG Electronics plans to announce the final winners on the 10th of next month by combining the number of 'likes' on the submitted videos and idea scores promoting StanbyMe. High scorers will receive prizes such as an LG StanbyMe (1 person), department store gift certificates (20 people), and coffee exchange coupons (100 people).
LG Electronics continues to expand customized content for the MZ generation on LG StanbyMe.
Recently, 1MILLION, which has about 24.5 million YouTube subscribers, exclusively launched the dance lesson platform 1MILLION Home Dance app?featuring the expertise of chief choreographer Lia Kim and affiliated choreographers?on webOS TVs released since 2018, including StanbyMe. Customers using this app on LG StanbyMe can watch short-form dance videos optimized for vertical mode by rotating the screen or connect a USB camera to check their dance moves on the screen.
