Burger prices rise, now bread costs increase too… Paris Baguette, average 6.7%↑

According to the industry on the 29th, SPC Group's Paris Baguette will raise the prices of some products by an average of 6.7% starting next month.
The target includes 66 items out of a total of 756 products, such as bread and cakes.
Main products include ▲‘Jeongtong Uyu Sikppang’ (Traditional Milk Bread) rising from 2,800 won to 2,900 won (3.6%) ▲‘Choux Cream Bread’ from 1,200 won to 1,300 won (9.1%) ▲‘My Number One 3’ cake from 27,000 won to 28,000 won (3.7%), etc.
A Paris Baguette official said, “This was an unavoidable decision due to rising raw material costs and various other expenses.”
CJ Foodville’s Tous Les Jours is also considering a price increase. A Tous Les Jours official said, “We are reviewing price increases due to rising inflation.”
Burger prices are also rising one after another. Mom's Touch will raise burger prices by 300 won, bone-in chicken by 900 won, and side menu items by 100 to 400 won each starting from the 3rd of next month. The price of the representative burger ‘Ssaiburger’ single item will increase from 3,800 won to 4,100 won.
Earlier, KFC raised prices of chicken menus such as ‘Hot Crispy Chicken’ and ‘Original Chicken’ and burger menus such as ‘Zinger Burger’ and ‘Tower Burger’ by 100 to 200 won starting from the 11th. Burger King raised prices of 33 products including 25 types of burgers by an average of 2.9% starting from the 7th.

Shinsegae Food’s No Brand Burger raised product prices by an average of 2.8% (114 won) starting from the 28th of last month.
