[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-ho Kim] The Korea Development Bank (KDB) announced on the 24th that it is conducting the 'KDB TechConnect Stage,' an open innovation program that provides technology connection opportunities for mid-sized companies and venture startups.
'KDB TechConnect Stage' is a program where mid-sized companies seeking new growth engines disclose their demand technologies through KDB's NextRound online platform and recruit venture companies possessing customized technologies suitable for those demands.
This year, the KDB TechConnect Stage is being conducted to discover venture startups with bio and healthcare-related technologies in collaboration with Daewon Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., a mid-sized pharmaceutical company. As of now, about 40 venture companies have expressed their intention to cooperate technologically in the KDB TechConnect Stage, which runs until the 28th.
