Simultaneous Live Broadcast on TV, YouTube, and Instagram
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Public Home Shopping (CEO Jo Seong-ho) announced on the 21st that its mobile live commerce service, 'Gongyeong Labang,' will be broadcast on TV.
Public Home Shopping will air 'TV Gongyeong Labang,' which streams 'Gongyeong Labang' on TV, at midnight on the 24th. This allows live commerce to be viewed on TV as well. The broadcast was planned to promote mobile live commerce. Unlike TV home shopping products, which are mainly composed of large quantities, live commerce can introduce various items including small-packaged products, thereby expanding sales channels for small business owners.
This TV Gongyeong Labang will also be simultaneously live-streamed on Public Home Shopping's YouTube and Instagram. It will communicate with customers through real-time chat, the biggest advantage of mobile live commerce.
Public Home Shopping plans to further foster Gongyeong Labang this year through a 'mobile-first' strategy. The organization has been significantly strengthened by reorganizing the mobile live commerce and mobile marketing teams. The number of live commerce broadcasts, which were held 20 to 30 times a month last year, will be expanded to about 100 times. Weekend broadcasts will also start ahead of the Lunar New Year.
