Imsil-gun Promotes 'Saengsaeng Card Support Project' for Women Farmers
[Imsil=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk announced on the 20th that it will promote the ‘Saengsaeng Card Support Project’ again this year to support cultural activities for women farmers.
This project was planned to improve welfare such as back pain, arthritis, and health management caused by repetitive farming work and housework of women farmers and fishermen, and to provide cultural activity opportunities to women farmers and fishermen in rural areas with poor cultural conditions.
The support targets are women farmers who are actually engaged in farming and reside in rural areas, aged between 20 and under 75 years old as of the project year, households with less than 50,000㎡ of farmland ownership, as well as business registrants in non-agricultural industries and full-time workers.
The Saengsaeng Card amount is a total of 150,000 KRW, with 130,000 KRW supported and 20,000 KRW self-paid.
However, those whose comprehensive income outside of agriculture (women farmers themselves) is 37 million KRW or more are excluded from support, so it is easier to apply for the project by visiting the eup/myeon office and receiving help from the person in charge.
This card can be used nationwide for health management, cultural, and learning activities of women farmers and fishermen, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be lent or transferred to others.
The usage period is until the end of December from the card issuance date.
For more details, you can receive detailed guidance through the Imsil-gun Agriculture and Livestock Division or eup/myeon offices.
