GS25 Launches Fusion Korean Cuisine Brand Hojokban Along with Lunchboxes and Sandwiches
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] GS25 announced on the 19th that it will release a collaborative product that incorporates the recipe and design of the popular fusion Korean restaurant Hojokban.
The products being launched this time include four types: Budae Jjigae set meal lunchbox, truffle potato bacon rice ball, duo sandwich, and vongole kalguksu. Hojokban is a restaurant where oriental-style wallpaper and interior accessories featuring tiger patterns come together to create a stylish retro atmosphere. In particular, among the popular restaurants in Apgujeong, Seoul, it is common to wait at least 1 to 2 hours to get a seat.
Through GS Retail’s exclusive application (app) ‘The Pop,’ an event is being held offering a total of 1,560 prizes including Hojokban gift boxes, dining vouchers (worth 50,000 won), pajamas, T-shirts, and mugs. Until the 25th, a 50% discount benefit is also provided when ordering collaborative products through the delivery app Udeal (Uri Dongnae Delivery).

A GS25 official said, “For this collaborative product, we have worked closely with Hojokban from the recipe to the design to maximize the restaurant’s authentic taste,” adding, “We plan to increase the number of restaurant meal replacement (RMR) products with various concepts in the future.”
