Booyoung Group Announces '2022 Safety and Health Management Policy' for Major Accident Prevention

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Tae-min Ryu] Booyoung Group announced on the 14th that it has declared its 2022 Occupational Safety and Health Management Policy to strengthen on-site worker safety management and occupational safety and health management.
This year, Booyoung Group set its occupational safety and health management policy as ▲ Zero major accidents ▲ Strengthening the three major safety and health management systems ▲ Fostering and supporting safety and health management systems for partner companies.
Specific implementation plans include ▲ Strengthening CEO safety management ▲ Establishing annual safety and health plans by department and quarterly implementation reporting ▲ Expanding the smart safety management system ▲ Consulting with specialized agencies for accident and disaster prevention ▲ Establishing and operating a health management system ▲ Implementing KOSHA-MS establishment and consulting for partner companies.
Booyoung Group also obtained the ‘KOSHA 18001’ certification from the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency in 2019 and operated it, then converted the certification to the new standard ‘KOSHA-MS’ in May last year. KOSHA-MS is a system certified by the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency under the Ministry of Employment and Labor. It is a management system that allows the company’s top management to declare safety and health policies in management directives and systematically manage activities to establish an occupational safety and health management system.
