KT Alpha, Advancing Future Business with Metaverse-Based Digital Trading Platform
On the afternoon of the 13th, KT Alpha signed a business agreement (MOU) with Korea Land Trust and Huobi Korea.
View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] KT Alpha announced on the 14th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Korea Land Trust and Huobi Korea for future value businesses centered on metaverse-based cryptocurrency and digital asset trading.
Through this MOU, they plan to establish a trading system for virtual assets such as virtual land and virtual real estate, and secure future competitiveness by developing metaverse-based digital item trading and content-type services.
KT Alpha will be responsible for building the metaverse world map platform and discovering and operating trading services such as shopping and content. Korea Land Trust will focus on creating an NFT-based virtual real estate environment, sales (leasing), and designing a financial system utilizing virtual assets, while Huobi Korea will handle virtual asset and item NFT trading.

Jung Ki-ho, CEO of KT Alpha, stated, “We plan to officially start the ‘Omniverse Meta Valley (tentative name)’ platform construction project from the first half of this year,” adding, “In the future, major business sectors such as K-Shopping and content distribution will also be implemented as trading services within the platform.”
