[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Korea Forest Service announced on the 11th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Incheon City to mutually cooperate in creating urban forests in the gray spaces of downtown Incheon. Considering the regional characteristics of Incheon, where many industrial facilities are distributed within residential areas, the core of the agreement is to establish urban forests to improve the urban environment. The Korea Forest Service and the city expect that this agreement will activate urban forest creation and management projects in the region.
