The Administrative Court of Seoul, Administrative Division 4 (Chief Judge Han Won-kyo) will hold a hearing at 3 p.m. on the same day regarding the suspension of execution application filed by 1,023 people, including Professor Doohyeong Jo of Yeungnam University College of Medicine, against the Minister of Health and Welfare and the Director of the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency concerning the quarantine pass order. After confirming the positions of both sides regarding the rights violations caused by the application of the quarantine pass, the court will decide whether to grant the suspension of execution.
If the court grants the suspension, the application of the quarantine pass to all facilities, including large supermarkets and restaurants, may be halted. Academies, reading rooms, and study cafes have already had the quarantine pass application suspended following a separate suspension case filed by parent groups on the 4th, which the court approved.
