Cheongam University Holds Closing Ceremony for 2nd Term Student Monitoring Group of Innovation Support Project
[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Cheongam University (Acting President Oh Mi-seong) held the “2nd Student Monitoring Group Completion Ceremony for the Innovation Support Project” on the 6th in the conference room on the 1st floor of Cheongam Hall.
The 2nd Student Monitoring Group, operated for the second time this year following last year, has conducted various online and offline activities for 31 weeks since the inauguration ceremony in April last year, focusing on user-centered monitoring and spreading the achievements of the Innovation Support Project.
The monitoring team, consisting of five members from the Nursing Department, Dental Hygiene Department, and Hotel and Aviation Service Department, acquired the contents and direction of Cheongam University’s Innovation Support Project through two official full meetings in the early stages of their activities and then proceeded with their main activities.
This 2nd group operated more meticulously by subdividing roles into three main areas: Educational Innovation (academic affairs, teaching and learning), Industry-Academia Cooperation Innovation (industry-academia, employment and start-up, counseling), and Other Innovations, including sub-areas within and outside the same fields, enabling members to understand the overall flow of the Innovation Support Project beyond their own areas.
The 2nd Student Monitoring Group carried out comprehensive online and offline activities by directly participating in Innovation Support Project programs, reporting on-site, producing outcomes, and sharing them on SNS to promote the programs and share achievements.
Starting this year, the newly added “Innovation Support Project Promotion Project” expanded their activities to offline promotional efforts by posting the goals, contents, and monthly student participation programs of the Innovation Support Project on major university buildings.
In September last year, the “2nd Student Monitoring Group Mid-term Achievement Sharing Meeting” was held, allowing the monitoring members to review their activity results in one place and share feedback on points to strengthen and supplement based on the mid-term achievements.
Thus, they continuously managed quality based on feedback collected through the 1st group’s activities and operations and the mid-term achievement sharing meeting.
Acting President Oh Mi-seong said, “I am grateful to the five members who worked hard for a year. I hope our university students will approach everything with a sense of ownership.”
Following this, Innovation Support Project Director Jeong Kyung-seok said, “Through student-centered monitoring activities, quantitative and qualitative improvements for Cheongam University students can be achieved. I thank the 2nd group students who worked hard for the development of the project throughout the year. I hope more students will participate in the Innovation Support Project in the future.”
Yang Hyun-seo, a third-year student in the Nursing Department, said, “Participating in the 2nd Student Monitoring Group activities, including university life mentoring and the digital competency enhancement content development contest, was very helpful in developing my abilities. I hope promotion of such excellent programs will be strengthened so that more students can benefit.”
The completion ceremony was concluded with an evaluation that the 2nd Innovation Support Project Student Monitoring Group had developed beyond the 1st group’s activities through expanded activity areas and sharing and spreading of achievements, greatly contributing to strengthening university competitiveness and fostering students’ affection and pride.
