Gwangju University Selected as an Excellent Institution for Nursing College Practical Training Education

View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] The Department of Nursing at Gwangju University (President Kim Hyuk-jong) announced on the 3rd that it was selected as an exemplary institution in the '2020 Nursing College Clinical Practice Education Support Project' recently announced by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
This Nursing College Clinical Practice Education Support Project was established to enhance clinical practice and practical training for nursing students, thereby improving the adaptability of new nurses to hospital settings and contributing to the enhancement of medical quality.
The Department of Nursing at Gwangju University was selected as an executing institution for nursing practice education support by the Ministry of Health and Welfare in 2020, receiving a total project fund of 265 million KRW to expand the simulation practice room, and in 2021, it opened and has been operating a simulation center.
In particular, over the past two years, all full-time faculty members have participated in simulation practice education, diligently carrying out the project and earning recognition for their achievements, leading to their final selection as an exemplary institution.
