The 'Daycare Enrollment Preparation Fund' is a project that reimburses guardians for the actual costs of purchasing items necessary for new infants and toddlers enrolling in daycare centers within the region, such as uniforms, sportswear, hats, bags, notebooks, name tags, and electronic attendance tags.
To implement the project, the county completed consultations with the Ministry of Health and Welfare on establishing a social security system in 2021 and secured a budget of 24 million KRW in 2022 based on 300 children.
Guardians can apply for reimbursement through the daycare center after paying the enrollment preparation fund. Since it is paid only once initially, no additional payments will be made even if the child transfers and re-enrolls in another daycare center.
The county plans to continue active promotion to ensure that all parents with newly enrolling infants and toddlers apply without omission.
