Chosun University Wins Multiple Awards at the Korean Society of Mechanical Engineering Capstone Competition
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hyung-joo] Undergraduate and graduate students, as well as professors from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Chosun University, won the Excellent Paper Presentation Award at the Fall Academic Conference hosted by the Korean Society of Mechanical Processing and achieved multiple awards at the Capstone Competition.
According to Chosun University on the 31st, student Lee Geon-min won the Grand Prize in the Capstone Design and Creative Idea Presentation at the 2021 Fall Academic Conference and Capstone Competition of the Korean Society of Mechanical Processing with the theme "Design of a Stroller Leveling System Using a Gimbal System."
Student Kim Se-yoon received the Excellence Award in the Capstone Design and Creative Idea Presentation with the theme "Optimal Design of a Smart Vinyl Greenhouse System Using Arduino."
Furthermore, student Kim Tae-hyun won the Innovation Award for his research on the "Development of an Automatic Beverage Shaker System," sweeping the Grand Prize, Excellence, and Innovation Awards among the mechanical engineering undergraduates at the same competition.
Excellent Paper Presentation Awards were also given through poster presentations. Graduate student Ko Jung-min received the Excellent Paper Presentation Award at the 2021 Fall Academic Conference of the Korean Society of Mechanical Processing for "Development and Optimization of an IoT-Based Stroller System to Improve Safety and Security."
Additionally, Professor Kim Jae-yeol, who supervised the Fall Academic Conference and Capstone Competition, won the Excellent Paper Presentation Award for his study on "Research on Electric Vehicle Battery Pack Cases Using Collision Analysis."
