Students of Department of Information Security at Dongshin University Win Encouragement Award at the 3rd TS Security Vulnerability Hunt Competition
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] The Dongshin University Information Security Department club ‘Hawkis’ won the Encouragement Award at the Korea Transportation Safety Authority’s ‘2021 3rd TS Security Vulnerability Hunt Competition.’
‘Hawkis,’ composed of Dongshin University Information Security Department third-year students Choi Ye-won, Kim Chang-seok, Kang Jong-sung, and first-year student Lee Yoon-ah, received high evaluations based on the difficulty of web-based vulnerabilities and other criteria.
This competition was organized with the purpose of proactively identifying and eliminating vulnerabilities in websites to enhance security.
