Volvo Cars Expands and Relocates Volvo Bundang Pangyo Service Center
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Volvo Cars Korea announced on the 30th that it has expanded and relocated its Bundang Pangyo Service Center to 200 Daewangpangyo-ro, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si.
The Volvo Bundang Pangyo Service Center operates with a total floor area of 1,995.27㎡ (603 pyeong), consisting of one basement floor and three above-ground floors, and offers a customer parking lot that can accommodate up to 30 vehicles.
Equipped with a total of 9 work bays (5 in the basement and 4 on the first floor), it can handle up to 40 general maintenance vehicles per day on average and up to 180 accident repairs per month. The second and third floors are used as offices and customer lounges.
The basement floor includes 2 paint bays and 2 sanding rooms in addition to general light maintenance, enabling the first accident repairs such as painting and bodywork in the area. Additionally, technicians who have completed the Volvo Cars Service Center Personnel Training Program (VCPA) provide integrated services from reservation to repair, maintenance, and aftercare through the 'Volvo Personal Service (VPS)'.
Song Kyung-ran, Executive Director of Customer Service at Volvo Cars Korea, said, “We decided to expand and relocate the Volvo Bundang Pangyo Service Center to provide more spacious and premium services to domestic customers,” adding, “We will continue to expand our service network nationwide so that customers can experience differentiated Swedish values anywhere in the country.”
To celebrate the expansion and relocation, various customer events will be held. Customers who spend more than 300,000 KRW on paid repairs will receive a 99.9% antibacterial mouse pad, and through a raffle, prizes such as an LG Styler, robot vacuum cleaner, golf bag, Volvo pouch, and camping park vouchers will be offered.

Additionally, customers who undergo paid repairs will receive a blanket, and visitors to the service center will be provided with a free inspection service covering 15 basic items and a cylindrical tissue pack (while supplies last).
