Yoon Geon-young: "Yoon Seok-yeol Must Maintain at Least Dignity... Appears Needy and Struggling"
Yoon Seok-yeol's Previous Day Remarks Targeting Moon Administration as 'Ignorant Third-Rate Fool' and 'Shoddy Regime'
Yoon Gun-young: "It's Because He Lacks Leadership and Content as a Presidential Candidate"
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoon Seul-gi] Yoon Gun-young, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, criticized Yoon Seok-yeol, the presidential candidate of the People Power Party, who has been raising the tone of his remarks day after day, saying, "I hope the presidential candidate of the main opposition party at least maintains some dignity, but he seems to be very desperate and struggling."
On the 30th, Yoon appeared on MBC Radio's 'Kim Jong-bae's Focus' and said, "It seems he is in a desperate situation, and it looks like he spoke to provoke the so-called heart of conservatism, but he miscalculated the target."
Earlier, at the launch ceremony of the People Power Party's Gyeongbuk Provincial Election Countermeasures Committee held at the Korea National Institute of Korean Studies in Andong, Gyeongbuk, Yoon Seok-yeol strongly criticized the Moon Jae-in administration, saying, "They brought in ignorant third-rate fools and ruined politics, economy, diplomacy, and security. It is an incompetent and illegal sham government."
Regarding this, Yoon said, "The core issue is that as a presidential candidate, leadership is missing and there is no content," adding, "It is his own problem, but he keeps approaching it with antithesis and negativity, so he will not be able to impress the public. Expressing the Moon Jae-in government's economic officials in such a way is an excessively harsh remark."
About the internal strife within the People Power Party's election committee, Yoon said, "It doesn't seem likely to be resolved well," and evaluated, "The core problem is that the 'Yoon core group' remains intact, and Kim Jong-in, Kim Han-gil, Kim Byung-joon, and even candidate Yoon himself are not people gathered with consistent values but are united for profit, so apart from negativity against the current government, there is nothing else, which inevitably leads to fights whenever there is an opportunity."
He continued, "Without the candidate's leadership, problem-solving is impossible," and said, "The first and second 'Yoon core group' incidents have occurred, and now the third and fourth 'Yoon core group' incidents will happen."
Regarding Lee Jun-seok, the leader of the People Power Party, he predicted, "I think the developments are not very meaningful, and the damage has already been done. I think it will be difficult to reconcile even once."
On the controversy over the High-ranking Officials' Crime Investigation Unit's communication inquiry, he said, "It is an absurd and groundless claim."

He explained, "Candidate Yoon is a former Prosecutor General and has been a prosecutor for decades. If he knowingly made such remarks, then he has lived his life as a prosecutor backwards, and if not, he is deceiving the public." "Generally, there are two types of communication data inquiries during criminal investigations. One is checking whether I called the anchor, and the other is checking call details, such as when, at what time, and where text messages were exchanged. What the People Power Party and candidate Yoon are talking about now is taking issue with the fact that I called anchor Kim Jong-bae."
