[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jung Soon-gyun) held a 'Love Rice Delivery' event on the 29th at the district office main building in collaboration with Seoul Yeongdong Nonghyup to help neighbors in need.
Seoul Yeongdong Nonghyup donated 300 bags of 20kg rice, which will be distributed to vulnerable groups within the district.
Attending the event were Jung Soon-gyun, Mayor of Gangnam-gu, Lee Gi-seon, Head of Regional Economy Division, Lee Jong-ho, Chairman of Seoul Yeongdong Nonghyup, and Min Kyung-wook, Standing Director of Seoul Yeongdong Nonghyup.
Shinmok Credit Cooperative (Chairman Lee Bo-ran) donated 10 million won through Yangcheon Sarang Welfare Foundation to help low-income families facing difficulties due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic have a warm year-end and New Year.
Kim Soo-young, Mayor of Yangcheon-gu, said, “We will carefully deliver the donated funds so that they can be used to help neighbors in need within the community. We thank Shinmok Credit Cooperative for their generous sharing for the local community.”
Mapo-gu (District Mayor Yoo Dong-gyun) awarded commendations on the 29th at Mapo-gu Office to residents who contributed to the revitalization of culture and arts in Mapo-gu.
