[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, urged caution to actively participate in verifying the quarantine pass when entering multi-use facilities to prevent violations, following the nationwide increase in COVID-19 confirmed cases and the mandatory expansion of the quarantine pass to restaurants and cafes starting from the 13th.
The quarantine pass is required for high-risk multi-use facilities such as ▲restaurants and cafes ▲academies ▲movie theaters and performance halls ▲karaoke rooms ▲PC rooms ▲libraries ▲massage parlors ▲entertainment facilities ▲bathhouses ▲indoor sports facilities, as well as for vulnerable infection facilities such as ▲medical institutions, nursing facilities, facilities for severely disabled persons, and dementia facilities when admitted or when visiting patients. The age exemption for application will also change from the current under 18 to under 11 starting February 1, 2022.
Those who have completed the second dose of COVID-19 vaccination or have received the third dose (booster) are considered fully vaccinated. From January 3, 2022, the validity period for those who have completed the second dose will be applied for 180 days starting 14 days after the second dose, and the third dose recipients will be recognized as effective from the day of additional vaccination. Therefore, caution is required when entering multi-use facilities.
