The Insurance Training Institute to Conduct Training for 470,000 Insurance Professionals Next Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] The Insurance Training Institute announced on the 29th that it plans to provide education to 470,000 people next year with the goal of "nurturing key talents to drive innovation in the insurance industry."
First, to effectively respond to changes in the educational paradigm due to the spread of non-face-to-face culture, the institute will diversify educational methods. In particular, it will create a virtual training center based on a metaverse (virtual extended world) platform to hold seminars and conferences on the latest issues such as InsurTech.
The Insurance Digital Transformation (DT) Academy will be upgraded, and advanced programs will be expanded. At the same time, through the operation of a permanent advisory group composed of related experts, the education system and content will be continuously improved.
In addition, through close consultations with the industry and authorities, preparations will be made to introduce continuing education for loss adjusters, and ethics education for financial industry workers will be established.
The institute will increase specialized courses by job function such as product, actuarial, claims, and asset management, and open new courses in various fields including humanities-linked education for sales organizations and insurance consumers.
