Shinhan Financial Group Obtains International Standard Certification for 'Compliance Management and Anti-Corruption Management'

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Shinhan Financial Group announced on the 29th that it has simultaneously obtained certifications for the Compliance Management System (ISO37301) and Anti-Corruption Management (ISO37001) from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
The Compliance Management System is a certification system that verifies that an organization's compliance policies and risk response systems meet global standards according to the international standards for compliance management established by ISO.
Anti-Corruption Management is an international standard certification awarded to organizations that have established management systems capable of effectively preventing corruption.
Shinhan Financial Group obtained this certification after undergoing audits and interviews with practitioners regarding internal regulations, systems, and policies from the Korea Management Certification Institute, an international standard certification body.
Through this certification, Shinhan Financial Group secured the reliability of its global-level internal control system and externally recognized its excellence in governance, one of the recently highlighted ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) factors.
