Pukyong National University Wins Top Award for Engineering Education as 'Southeast Region University of the Year' for Two Consecutive Years

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Trainee Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Pukyong National University received the "2021 Southeastern Region University Contribution Award" Grand Prize at the 2021 S-HOW Performance Presentation and Awards Ceremony.
The awards ceremony was jointly hosted by the Engineering Education Innovation Centers of 14 universities in the Southeastern region.
At the event held at Jeju Shinhwa World Landing Hall, Pukyong National University was recognized for its contributions to engineering education innovation and industry-academia cooperation in the Southeastern region throughout 2021.
Following the Grand Prize in 2020, Pukyong National University was again acknowledged as the top-performing participating university this year.
Since 2007, Pukyong National University has been conducting a project to nurture creative convergence-type engineering talents, supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology, under the supervision of the Engineering Education Innovation Center.
The Innovation Center efficiently operated online and face-to-face education for engineering students and collaborated with other universities' Engineering Education Innovation Centers to carry out projects.

At the awards ceremony, Pi Kyung-jin, a full-time researcher at Pukyong National University’s Engineering Education Innovation Center, received the "SUPER Staff Southeastern Region Excellent Employee Contribution Award," given to staff who contributed to the development of engineering education in the Southeastern region.
