SK Rent-a-Car Launches Jeju Island Car Camping Package for 50,000 KRW per Day
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] SK Rent-a-Car announced on the 28th that it will launch the Kia 'Seltos,' modified to enable sleeping and camping in the vehicle, as a short-term rental product exclusively for car camping in Jeju Island.
The Seltos introduced by SK Rent-a-Car in Jeju is a vehicle modified with the concept of a 'mini camper,' a compact camping car optimized for car camping and mini camping by an automotive specialty company.
With a high roof applied, the external height is similar to that of a Carnival, and the interior is spacious enough to stand golf bags upright. Additionally, the interior has been leveled so that two adults with a height of 180cm can lie down comfortably, and it is equipped with a 220V inverter for convenience in using electronic devices such as laptops, smartphone chargers, and coffee pots.
The daily rental fee for the Seltos, a vehicle dedicated to car camping, is about 50,000 KRW for SK Rent-a-Car members.
Furthermore, SK Rent-a-Car explained that it offers about a 30% discount when renting car camping supplies such as bedding sets, tableware sets, and tables through partner companies. They added that reserved supplies will be pre-placed inside the vehicle to enhance convenience and satisfaction for users.
