Professor Kim Yunho of Mokwon University Receives Presidential Citation for Contributions to Public Safety
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Mokwon University announced on the 27th that Professor Kim Yun-ho (photo) of the Department of Computer Engineering, College of Engineering, received the Presidential Citation for his contributions to safety policy and daily life safety.
Professor Kim was recognized for his contributions to the activation of the Safety Report Center operated by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the removal and improvement of risk factors through safety reports, and the resolution of safety blind spots in daily life.
Currently, Professor Kim serves as the President of the Sejong-Chungnam Federation of the Safety Monitor Volunteer Corps Central Association and as the Korean representative on the ISO/TC 292 (Security & Resilience) technical committee of the International Organization for Standardization. He also plays an advisory and evaluation role in the Safety Korea Training conducted by central and local governments.

Additionally, he concurrently engages in academic and social activities as the President of the Korean Society of Social Safety, the Korean Institute of Information Technology, and the Korean Digital Content Society; as a review committee member of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy’s Technical Standards Institute; as a technical evaluation committee member for the Cultural Heritage Administration, Statistics Korea, and Public Procurement Service; and as an expert in technology level evaluation in the ICT and software fields for the Ministry of Science and ICT.
