SK Shielders' 'CapsHome' Evolves into a Smart Home Platform
New Service Added to Dedicated Mobile Application
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] SK Shieldus (CEO Park Jin-hyo) announced on the 27th that it will actively expand its service area as a smart home platform by adding new services to the dedicated mobile application for its smart home security service 'CapsHome'.
CapsHome is a smart home service optimized for apartments and multi-family housing. SK Shieldus has newly added parcel theft compensation service, security reports, and sex offender lookup functions so that CapsHome can be used as a platform to easily obtain safety information closely related to daily life beyond security functions such as CCTV and dispatch.
First, in partnership with e-commerce company 11st, a new parcel delivery tracking and theft compensation service using the CapsHome dedicated application was launched. CapsHome customers who purchase products from 11st can check the delivery status in real time through the CapsHome app and easily apply for compensation in case of parcel theft.
In particular, the parcel theft compensation service has drastically shortened the compensation processing time. This is because evidence footage taken by CapsHome at the front door can be immediately secured. As a result, the parcel theft compensation processing time, which previously took 7 to 10 days, has been reduced to a maximum of 1 to 3 days, improving customer convenience. SK Shieldus plans to expand partnerships with various e-commerce and delivery companies starting with this partnership with 11st.
