The donation of electric heating mats was carried out to help underprivileged groups in the vicinity of the Gori Nuclear Power Plant stay warm during the winter.
The headquarters provided electric heating mats worth a total of 20 million KRW to local basic livelihood security recipients and near-poverty residents.
The donation utilized the Love Fund, which was voluntarily contributed by employees of the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters, and the electric heating mats were delivered to each household through the Community Chest of Korea and the administrative welfare centers of towns and townships in Gijang County.
Kim Jun-seok, head of the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters, said, “The Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters will carry out various social contribution activities to promote a culture of sharing.”
