So far, the Government Complex Management Headquarters has been working to establish an aerial threat response system against drones by conducting research on building a drone defense system and preparing business plans.
The newly introduced anti-drone gun utilizes the Public Procurement Service's innovative product purchase system and is equipped with a function to neutralize flight control by jamming unauthorized illegal flying objects.
The Government Complex Management Headquarters will also hold a demonstration event on the 27th to inspect the performance of the anti-drone gun equipment and the drone response system. The demonstration will simulate scenarios such as unauthorized drone filming of the government complex and bomb terror situations, showcasing drone suppression, operator apprehension, and explosive removal.
The Complex Management Headquarters plans to form an illegal drone response team within the government complex with the introduction of the anti-drone gun. The response team will strengthen aerial defense capabilities through regular training with related agencies such as the military and police and will play a role in establishing an aerial surveillance and defense system for the government complex.
